My MAC Permanent Blush Palette

As much as I enjoy the LE collections and releases from MAC, the products from MAC’s permanent collection are the gems that I really should be paying attention to. It’s easy to get pulled into the hype around acquiring LE items in special formulas, colours and packaging even though the quality may not always be all there. Luckily, MAC has their own permanent core products to help ground the sometimes faulty products that they release through out the year.

Today’s post is dedicated to my MAC permanent blushes that have been recently moved into a new and improved MAC palette home. These new MAC palettes are sleek, efficient (thanks to the clear lid) and much more affordable than their previous versions. I have a couple of older MAC Blush palettes but they contain LE blushes that have been depotted.

No Fuss Blush

To continue with last Monday’s (SSS) theme of easy peasy products, I thought I would do a feature on non-fuss blushes. You know, the ones that can be applied with little to no effort and always look great. The ones that are pulled out when there is absolutely no time to bother with dipping, tapping, applying and then blending out. The ones that go with any kind of makeup and do not compete with other aspects of the look. The ones that can also stand on their own and brighten the face. My kind of makeup hero.

My NARS Blush/Bronzer Collection

You all probably know about the hype surrounding NARS blushes. All I can add to the dialogue is that all of the praise is deserved. I am a true blush junkie and my NARS blushes are some of my favourites. The texture and staying power of these bad boys is truly nothing short of a miracle. The colours they come in are splendid and NARS packaging is just divine. I thought I would dedicate a little post on this blog to one of the most loved areas of my makeup collection.
